I would like to express how
impressed I am with your company's performance on the
Heritage Plaza Parking Deck.
It is fair to say in the early
stages of construction, the Heritage Plaza project was viewed as just another
parking deck with a tunnel, nonetheless, once into the
think of it, we found out that this was not going to be
an easy build. There have been more than a few moments
of panic from all involved, but the TAS team crossed
every milestone places before them with grace and
dignity.
I am most impressed with the level
of attention the team gave to the project. The attention
to detail is second to none and the level of quality is
beyond expectation. Walking the site, you see the pride
your craftsmen take in their work, almost like this
garage was their own home.
There is an old Chinese proverb
that says, "An army of a thousand is easy to find, but,
ah, how difficult to find a general". After working with
Roque Romero, I now understand that saying to a new
level. He is in fact a general. His attitude is always
professional and his focus in never far from the project
or his team. The respect he shows his army is seen in
their work. You truly have a great asset to your team
and I only wish there were more of him in the
construction world.
As builders, it is in our nature to
always look ahead and anticipate our next move. I only
hope to have TAS and Mr. Romero on our next project.

We all know of TAS, and hopefully have had the chance
to work with this organization. They are men amongst
boys in the concrete world. I've had the opportunity to
work both at Hood County and now at Goose Creek with
this firm. Even working with the Dallas and Houston
office, I give my highest regards.
Yesterday morning, with inclement weather looming the
remainder of the week, the decision was made to expedite
a 300 yard concrete pour schedule for today to Monday.
TAS was contacted and the ball was set in motion. They
were onsite for a total of 30.5 hours. The finishing
foreman never left the jobsite! The guys didn't cut any
corners; they stuck with the task at hand and completed
a tough job. That, my friends, is dedication.
